KATIE and DELILAH
Katie embodies the essence of crunchy stay-at-home mom, embracing a more down-to-earth lifestyle, finding joy in baking her own bread, sewing her own clothes, relishing in barefoot adventures, and adopting a holistic, slow-living approach to life. Her singular objective in this moment is to raise her daughter in a positive, loving environment using gentle parenting techniques. She hopes to live on a small farm with her little family raising her best-friend, Delilah, affectionately called Bug as close to and in harmony with nature as possible. Katie is the driving force behind our Sugar-Free, Organic, Gluten-Free, and Natural Candy Lines boasting no artificial flavors, dyes or preservatives. Delilah heads our quality control department, joyfully conducting taste tests for each of our natural crunchy candies.
CARISSA
Carissa, the oldest sister, a distinguished MBA graduate with summa cum laude honors, possesses a sharp business acumen, an innate flair for marketing, and an exceptional talent for styling. Carissa is a unique fusion of modernity and free-spiritedness. She is a connoisseur of cutting-edge with determined perfectionism yet those that really know her know behind that corporate veil she has a wildly adventurous spirit that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and live in the moment. Although she carries a shoe horn in her designer hand bag she isn't afraid to slip those perfectly uncreased, polished shoes off and run wild with her sisters.
LILY
Lily, the youngest sister and member of our team still in high school, is incredibly athletic and has a keen passion for fashion. She plays a crucial role in our operations, assisting with shopping, ordering supplies, restocking events, and providing valuable insights into teenage shopping habits. Lily joins us on our journey simply because she wants a pre-college job so she can enjoy her best life at the Algonquin Commons spending it as quickly as she makes it!
TRACY
Tracy, known as mom and Grandma Rooster of the group skillfully blends elements from each of her children's worlds, including her other two daughters into hers. She can see little reflections of herself in each of them. She navigates life with a kid-centric perspective prioritizing their well-being and success, but placing their happiness above all else. She tries desperately to appreciate the present moment, and takes pride in the remarkable individuals her daughters have become. Each member of this unique family contributes to a diverse tapestry of experiences, perspectives and individual passions that they have woven together on this collective journey they call Silo Sweets.
